Lubes & Electrogel

Electrogel and lubes allow the effective transfer of electrical energy into the skin when we stim. It's essential if using surface electrodes such as conductive rubber or metal electrodes. It's also necessary when playing with electro wands, pinwheels or the electro whisker.

Why Use Electrogel Or Lubes?

Electrogel helps to remove air gaps between electrodes and your skin; this can help prevent hot spots when you stim. It can also help with the insertion and removal of internal e-stim electrodes.

Water-based lube will suffice for insertable electrodes, but a good electrogel is recommended for external use as it promotes electrical conductivity and helps prevent annoying hotspots.

There is no need to use any electrogel or lube on self-adhesive monopole electrodes, as it will prevent them from sticking.
